Hypnosis
is a valuable tool to change your mind and the way
that you think about a particular situation in order to obtain requested
results. Brian Weiss, M.D., author of “Many Lives, Many Masters”,
has described it as “focused concentration as you relax”.
Allowing your mind to be open to positive suggestions
that are given to assist you in reaching your goal is how hypnosis
works. When you accept them, you achieve what you want easily. It is a
natural state that we are in and out of on a regular basis; like when
you are driving and suddenly realize you are further along than you
thought. It is distracting the conscious mind so that the preferred
message reaches and is accepted by the subconscious. You are always in control and will never do anything
against your will. The main objective is to relax and to keep an open
mind. Dr. Nancy Snyderman, NBC Chief Medical Editor, has
been on the Today show reporting how hypnosis can decrease or
eliminate pain. Many clients utilize hypnosis for pre and post-surgery
in order to accelerate the healing process. Nurses enjoy the relaxation of hypnosis to assist
them with the test anxiety of taking State Board Exams. They already
know the information. However, when sitting in front of the computer for
their hours of tests, hypnosis assists them to remain calm and focused. Benefits of Hypnosis
